How To Find Us

By Road

Galashiels is on the A7, situated between Carlisle (1 ¼ hours away) and Edinburgh (one hour's drive). From Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Galashiels is 1 ½ hours drive on the A68/A697.

By Air

Edinburgh international airport is one hour's drive from Galashiels. Glasgow and Newcastle airports are both within easy reach at 1 ½ hours drive away.

By Bus

There is a regular bus service to Berwick-Upon-Tweed (East Coast Mainline train station) Edinburgh and Carlisle. There are also daily services to Newcastle and Glasgow.

The Borders rail service is due to open in 2015. At present, trains call at Berwick-Upon-Tweed (East Coast Mainline), Carlisle (West Coast Mainline) and Edinburgh with connecting bus services from each.
